Why was Google Fit removed?

Google has dropped support for Google Fit and have required developers to remove it by the end of 2024. In the RepCount app we faced tons of problems with the Google Fit integration. It could often fail without any error messages making it impossible to debug. For these two reasons we decided to be early in adopting Googles new Health Connect, which completely replaces Google Fit. You can read more about this here:
