What is Health Connect?

Googles Health Connect gives you a simple way to store and connect the data between your health and fitness apps, without compromising on privacy. It replaces the direct Google Fit integration, and syncs not only with Google Fit via Health Connect, but also a range of other apps including FitBit and Samsung Health.

Google has given developers until 2024 to remove Google Fit and replace it with Health Connect. For RepCount we faced a number of problems with the Google Fit integration, and because of this we decided to support Health Connect going forward and remove the Google Fit integration a little earlier.
